The E-commerce & Content Executive is responsible for increasing online revenue and strengthening digital presence across hotel channels. The role focuses on e-commerce strategy, digital marketing management, content oversight, and performance analytics, with the aim of boosting visibility and direct bookings. The position reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing and works closely with sales, marketing, and revenue teams.
Key Responsibilities
E-commerce Strategy
Develop and implement e-commerce strategies across all channels
Increase direct bookings via websites and owned digital platforms
Optimize user experience and conversion rates
Digital Marketing
Manage SEO, SEM, social media, display advertising, and email marketing
Oversee paid media and promotional strategies
Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines
Performance Analysis
Monitor KPIs such as traffic, conversion, revenue, and ROI
Report results to Director of Sales and Marketing
Use data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Content Management
Create and manage content for websites, emails, social media, and promotions
Ensure brand consistency across content
Work with properties to showcase local features and offers
Collaboration
Work with local hotel marketing teams to align strategies
Coordinate with revenue management, IT, and distribution for booking integration
Align with global digital strategies
Budget & Resources
Manage digital and e-commerce budget
Monitor spend and ensure ROI
Digital Trends
Stay updated on digital marketing and e-commerce trends
Test and adopt new tools and platforms
Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or related field
Master’s degree is a plus
Experience
Minimum 2 years in e-commerce or digital marketing
Experience in hospitality or travel industry preferred
Background in managing digital marketing for multiple properties
Technical Skills
Knowledge of booking platforms and CMS
Experience with SEO, SEM, paid media, social media, Google Analytics
Analytical and data-driven mindset
Proficient in A/B testing and conversion optimization
