Job Summary:
This role focuses on building and managing relationships with SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) clients to grow the bank’s customer base, loans, deposits, and revenue. The position demands strong relationship management, risk assessment, and customer service to maximize profitability and brand strength within the SME sector. The job also includes ensuring compliance, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and maintaining high portfolio quality.
Job Requirements Overview:
Required: Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
Preferred: Master’s degree in a business-related field
Minimum 5 years of work experience in the banking sector
At least 2 years in a managerial role in sales or credit
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Excellent marketing and customer service abilities
Financial and risk analysis skills
In-depth knowledge of banking regulations and policies
Strong relationship management experience
Leadership and results-driven mindset
High professional standards and attention to compliance (KYC/AML)
Ability to identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities
Knowledge of SME banking best practices
Advanced financial statement interpretation skills
Experience in growing and maintaining a quality loan portfolio
