The Rwanda Social Security Board (RSSB) is hiring a Senior Officer for Health Facility Inspection to oversee the inspection, compliance, and monitoring of health facilities, particularly those serving CBHI members. The role involves detecting and preventing fraud, ensuring service quality, and contributing to the transformation of Rwanda’s social security system. The position is full-time and based in Kigali.

Senior Officer, Health Facility Inspection

Purpose of the Role:
Ensure that health facilities meet national standards in service delivery, prevent fraud, and support strategic improvements in the health ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement inspection plans for health facilities.
Conduct inspections to verify compliance with health standards and regulations.
Monitor and evaluate healthcare services provided to RSSB beneficiaries.
Investigate fraud and malpractice in healthcare settings.
Prepare and submit reports on inspection activities.
Participate in planning and budgeting activities for the department.
Engage with stakeholders and represent RSSB in forums.
File administrative records and provide support for audits or reviews.
Education Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Public Health, Pharmacy, Health/Hospital Administration, Health Sciences, Insurance, or related fields with at least 2 years of relevant experience
OR
Bachelor’s Degree in the same fields with at least 4 years of relevant experience
Experience:
Prior experience in healthcare inspection, monitoring, or compliance is preferred.
Familiarity with the Rwandan healthcare system and CBHI (Community-Based Health Insurance) is advantageous.
