Job Summary:
The Program Manager will lead the implementation of a large-scale national teacher training initiative in Rwanda, engaging thousands of educators. The role involves program execution, data-driven decision-making, community engagement, stakeholder coordination, and on-the-ground support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of the national teacher training program

• Build and sustain a national teacher learning community

• Manage relationships with government, school leaders, and international partners

• Increase learner engagement and retention through data-informed strategies

• Monitor program performance using dashboards and KPIs

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams locally and globally

• Conduct regular field visits to support implementation in remote areas

• Ensure safeguarding and inclusion standards

• Use systems like Salesforce and Microsoft Suite for project workflows and reporting

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree

• At least 6 years of professional experience

  • Including 3+ years of project management in client-facing roles

• Proven experience managing large-scale education programs in Rwanda

• Full professional fluency in English and Kinyarwanda

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong skills in Excel and data interpretation

• Ability to engage diverse stakeholders, from teachers to government officials

Good to Have (Preferred):

• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM

• Experience in telesales or customer engagement roles

• Project Management Certification

• Passion for education and learning
